Job Opportunity – Teaching and Learning Partner
30 hours per week
Salary SCP 3 – 4 Term Time Only
An opportunity has arisen for fixed term post for a Teaching and Learning Partner to work with SEND children for 30 hours per week, term time only plus 2 days, supporting them to access their learning. The start date is as soon as possible. The role will comprise of a blend of 1:1 and small group support.
This is a fixed-term position to cover the secondment of the substantive post holder and will continue until their return.
Essential Criteria
- Must hold a GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Must hold a relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years Qualification in Childcare (or equivalent for the legal requirements of EYFS as defined by the DFE).
- Must have experience of working in a Reception or Nursery Setting and demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Curriculum.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with children and their families.
- Be a reflective practitioner, committed to ongoing professional development.
- Be well-organised, able to use their own initiative, and work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for all.
