Art
Art is taught through a creative and engaging curriculum which celebrates creative expression and enables pupils to make links between art and other areas of learning. Art is taught in blocks rather than as weekly lessons so the children can really focus in on a particular area of the subject. By the time children leave Margaret McMillan, we want them to have developed knowledge about a range of artists from different time periods, shared their opinions and used a range of materials to experiment and express themselves in a creative way.
